I-COL Fast -   Sterile Braided coated synthetic absorbable polyglycolic acid undyed suture, excellent for short term wound support. Made of 100% polyglycolic acid & coated with calcium stearate & Polycaprolactone. Which facilitates smooth tissue passage and has excellent knotting and handling properties. It is twice as strong as catgut of equivalent diameter. It has predictable absorption by hydrolysis. It is specially treated with controlled irradiation to retains 45% of its initial tensile strength after 6 days and 10% only it its initial tensile strength after 10 days and is completely absorbed between 40-45days. USP Sizes available 0-5/0.
